Dinner at Eight Artists present "Beneath the Surface" co-curated by Jamie Fingal and Leslie Tucker Jenison.  It is sponsored by Moore's Sewing Centers and Brother International.  This 37-piece collection will premiere at the International Quilt Festival in Long Beach - July 22-25th and then travel onto Festival in Houston and will be sponsored by Mistyfuse.

Journeys - International Quilt Festival in Long Beach this Summer!

Quilts on the Wall: Fiber Artists selected Journey's as their theme for this year's International Quilt Festival in Long Beach. As the jurors we were taken on a journey through -- dreams, stories, fairy tales, personal journeys, the twists, turns and paths of life, and the mysteries of life that unfolded and inspired the quilts created by the members of Quilts On The Wall: Fiber Artists. The 18 quilts selected speak to the diversity of interpretations that one word can invoke and the creative talents of the members of QOTW. Jurors: Georgia Freedman-Harvey and Cindy Rinne.

Edges Special Exhibit

Joanell Connolly, Cindy Cooksey, Stacy Hurt, Julie Schlueter, Terry Waldron have work in the upcoming juried special exhibit "Edges" (a 21 piece collection); presented by Pacific Coast Fiber Artists & Friends, and sponsored by Quilting Arts, LLC. The exhibit will debut at Festival in Long Beach; July 23-26th; and travel onto Festival in Houston (sponsored by the artists in the exhibit). Curated by Jamie Fingal and Leslie Jenison, who will also have pieces in the exhibit.

Everything Under the Sun - Special Exhibit

Postcard quilt for our special exhibit "Everything Under the Sun" that debuted at the International Quilt Festival in Long Beach - July 2008. 50+ fiber art postcards 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" all about Long Beach, California. The postcards are hand sewn by members of The Cut-Loose Quilters onto household screen and made by many of the artists in this unique exhibit. You can click on the picture to see it larger.
