Cindy Cooksey's art quilt "Go With the Flow"  has been accepted into THE ArT QuILT ExPERIENCE exhibit. It will be shown at the gallery at Stone Quarry Hill Art Park in Cazenovia, NY, June 12 thrugh July 31.

Stacy Hurt's art quilt "Lower the Bridge" has been accepted into the special exhibit "Bridges" by Quilts on the Wall.  It will be shown at the International Quilt Festival in Long Beach, CA -  July 28-31st. 

Jamie Fingal's art quilt "Spilling Over" has been accepted into Sacred Threads.  It will be shown at Church of the Epiphany in Herndon, Virginia from June 22 to July 4th.  www.sacredthreadsquilts.com

Cindy Cooksey will be teaching a mini workshop on  "English Paper Piecing" on May 7 from 1-3pm  at Flying Geese Quilt Shop in Tustin, through my guild, Flying Geese Quilters. The Space Between - Juried Invitational

A pause as we reach for the telephone. The moments between the lines. Negative space in a painting. Uncertainty, and finding your voice. From one place to the other. Birds on a wire, and the distance between friends...The Space Between thought and action. Thin cracks separating this from that. Lines on a highway, or reading between the lines...The Space Between.

3-D Point of View show in Whittier - Nov 3-28th

The 3-Dimensional Artists Group of the Whittier Art Association presents its Fifth Annual Exhibition; Nov 3-28th; A 3-D POINT OF VIEW; Opening reception Saturday, Nov 6th from 3-6pm; This year the 3-D Group celebrates a milestone exhibit, with over 30 artists in ceramics, polymer clay, fiber art, gourd work, collage/assemblage, jewelry, lapidary, mosaic, sculpture, stained glass and more.  Vickie Valdez will have work in this show. .

Christmas Boutique & Craft Fair - Sat, Nov 6th - Orange

Saturday, November 6th members Stacy Hurt and Peggy Calvert will be at St. Paul's Lutheran Church at the "Christmas Festival". They will have art quilts; hand made quilted cards and darling quilted ornaments. Go check it out and enjoy the festive atmosphere.
There are raffles; tons of booths to visit and FOOD!

"Welcome Home" The House Quilt Project
