Member News

Cindy Cooksey's quilt from the Surf's Up exhibit at Festival in Long Beach is featured in Quilts Japan magazine this month
Peggy Calvert, Anne Copeland & Jamie Fingal's group quilt from the Everything Under the Sun special exhibit was sold at The Gallery on Glassell in Orange in October.
Stacy Hurt's Journal Quilt has been accepted into the Journal Quilt Project in Houston!
Cindy Cooksey has two (2) pieces and Jamie Fingal has one (1) chosen for the upcoming Lark Book "Pretty Little Mini Quilts."
Terry Waldron's work has been accepted into PIQF.
Jamie Fingal's "Adornments" are in Quilting Arts Gifts 2008
and Terry's art quilt "Hey, Kahuna! No Trespassing!" is in Quilting Arts Magazine - October/November 2008 Issue 35 as part of "California dreamin'."
Joanell Connolly will be a vendor in Artistic License Fair, Oct 24 & 25th at Estancia Park in Costa Mesa - 10am to 4pm

Everything Under the Sun - Special Exhibit

Postcard quilt for our special exhibit "Everything Under the Sun" that debuted at the International Quilt Festival in Long Beach - July 2008. 50+ fiber art postcards 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" all about Long Beach, California. The postcards are hand sewn by members of The Cut-Loose Quilters onto household screen and made by many of the artists in this unique exhibit. You can click on the picture to see it larger.
